The objective of this privacy policy is to show, in a clear and direct way, the ways in which the data of the users of the “Pixel Year: Year in Pixels” application is collected, used and managed.
When you use the application, you generate information such as: your personal diary entries for each day; and images, if you choose to save an image in the corresponding entry. All this information is generated and saved on your device locally, and in your personal Google Drive account if a backup is generated, this information is protected by your Google Drive credentials since they are in your personal folder and we do not store that information on any other server. However, when you authorize the application to access your Google Drive, you must log in with your Google account, we only obtain your email address when you perform this operation.
We only receive and store your email address the first time you authorize the app to access your Google Drive when using the backup and / or image saving function. Otherwise, the data it generates in the application is only saved on your device.
The application does not manipulate any files on your Google Drive that have not been created by the application itself (your journal entries and images).
We also use analysis tools (Google Analytics) to measure and collect information from your interaction with the app.
We do not share your information with third parties.
The reasons why we store your email address are:
• Statistical purposes to improve our services.
• To communicate with you if we consider it necessary as in the case of important notices related to the application.
We obtain your email address at the time you authorize the application to access your Google Drive.
Your information is stored on a secure platform called Firebase, which belongs to Google, so your data is protected by its infrastructure.
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes will take effect immediately after they are posted on this website. If we make important changes to this policy, we will notify you by email.
